It looks like Mandy Rose has a new challenger.
Wendy Choo has had an odd run within NXT. Originally part of the Tian Sha gimmick, she recently was repackaged as Wendy Choo, who sleeps a lot of the time and competes in a onesie. The gimmick is clearly drawing inspiration from characters like Orange Cassidy, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s clearly worked for Choo, who now finds herself challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship.
It was announced on NXT 2.0 last night that Wendy would be taking on Mandy Rose at NXT In Your House for the NXT Women’s Title.
Time will tell if WWE will take the NXT championship off Mandy Rose and if they will bring her back up to the main roster if she does. Let us know in the comments section and social media pages what you think of this match.
