It feels like every day there is a new woman in wrestling who is subjected to some form of abuse. We have seen over the last week or so that both Paige and Britt Baker have had to suffer at the hands of wrestling fans. Another woman who is no stranger to abuse on social media is host of The Bump, Kayla Braxton.
Kayla has had more than her fair share of abuse on social media since taking on the role left by Renee Paquette when she left the company. She has been subjected to abuse from racists and more. Now, it appears she has faced hatred over her celebration of Pride Month.
While there was a lot of love in the comments for Kayla (as well as a lot of creepy ones), there were also those who do not understand/care about the meaning of Pride. Kayla would snap back at these people in a follow up tweet. For those unaware, Kayla came out as bisexual in March of 2021 and would actually end up having to delete her social media briefly due to the homophobia she experienced.
It’s sad to see the amount of insecure, hateful and self-loathing people who feel the need to express their disdain for gay pride and the LGBTQ+ community. Don’t knock it til ya try it, sweeties. Maybe you’ll like it
