On Monday Night RAW, we witnessed a match where if Mustafa Ali won, he would receive a US Title shot vs Austin Theory. During the match though, Theory would get involved and cause a disqualification and the match would be made for right after.
Theory would dispose of a weakened Mustafa Ali in short time and the crowd was not happy. Neither was Vince McMahon apparently, as Adam Pearce came out following the match and made the announcement that Theory will once again defend the US title against Ali, this time in a fair fight.
