Ric Flair Promises Top Rope Spot For His Return To The Ring At 73

Ric Flair isn’t a wrestler who always ventured to the top rope, so when he did it usually meant he was gonna take a bump. Now, at 73 years old, Flair will return to the ring and while many fans are concerned for Flair’s health due to his pacemaker and age, Flair continues to state that it is completely safe.

Speaking to the Tampa Bay Times, Flair said he plans on coming off the top rope one more time in his final bout.

“That’s what I’m working on. It’s just a timing issue. I’ll guarantee I’ll be coming off the top rope. Whether it’s the flip or not, I don’t know,”

That was just an experiment to make sure my pacemaker didn’t come unplugged from landing on the mat.”

There is no confirmation on Flair’s opponent for his return to the ring. Hopefully one way or another Flair’s return can go without a hitch and with no health issues.
