Thunder Rosa Will Not Wrestle Past 45
Thunder Rosa wants to wrestle as long as possible but not past a certain age.
Thunder Rosa is the current AEW Women’s Champion, not that you’d think it with how little the champion has been on AEW TV since winning the title. She is currently scheduled to face Serena Deeb at AEW Double Or Nothing for the championship.
Rosa made her pro wrestling debut in 2014. She is now at the age of 35 and fans wonder how long she will continue to wrestle. While speaking with Forbes, Thunder Rosa revealed that she has no plans to wrestle after 45.
“I’m going to wrestle as long as possible, but I don’t think I want to be wrestling after I’m 45. I know some of my peers at that age and they’re still wrestling. I personally don’t want to because it’s very taxing on your body.”
“I can wrestle to the caliber, to the level that I’ve been wrestling at, for another three to four years… But I also have to scale back and take care of my body.”
Thunder Rosa on Forbes
Time will tell how much longer we see Thunder Rosa in active competition but hopefully her AEW title reign will begin to be featured more on AEW TV going forward.
