Santana is not just a tag team star.
As of late, Santana has been caught up in a massive storyline within AEW involving The Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club. While him and Ortiz have been successful as a tag team, we have not seen much from the pair in terms of singles matches in comparison. However, that may change as Santana won the LAWE World Championship, becoming the first world champion for the promotion.
Tonight in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico at the LAWE Cima De Campeones event, AEW’s Santana became the first ever LAWE Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to Santana! And yes, that’s former WWE referee Mike Chioda handing the belt to Santana.
