Vince McMahon Never Saw Bray Wyatt As A Top Guy

It appears Vince did not view Bray Wyatt as a main eventer.

Bray Wyatt had an odd WWE career. He was constantly stop-start pushed, gaining momentum only to lose all that momentum once Wyatt lost the feud he was in. While he held two world titles in his time in the WWE, fans still feel Wyatt deserved to be used a lot better. Most of the backlash regarding Wyatt’s The Fiend was due to WWE overbooking the character.

While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy talked about Bray Wyatt’s run in WWE. Hardy stated that McMahon never really saw Wyatt as a top guy in WWE.

“Because ultimately Vince didn’t see him as such. You know if you’re a guy like you know Undertaker you’re going to be treated differently when you’re older, obviously, you know someone like John Cena, obviously Roman Reigns is the tippy top guy then you’re gonna have other guys who like cycle in and out of those things. You know Cesaro got close there at the end, you had times where Braun Strowman was up and down.”
