Adam Cole Baybay will continue to be a part of the Owen Hart foundation tournament. Opening AEW Dynamite, he took on Dax Harwood in an excellent match to kick off the show.
The match featured as expected, many references to both Owen and Bret Hart. Dax Harwood would lock in the sharpshooter at one point but wasn’t able to cinch it in due to a rib injury Cole had worked during the match. Cole would lock in his own sharpshooter and after a brief struggle – Harwood tapped out.
Adam Cole will square off with the winner of Darby Allin and Jeff Hardy’s match in the main event of Dynamite in the semi finals.
