Malcolm Bivens Comments On WWE Release; Denies Report That He Was Pitched To Manage Omos

Last month, we saw ten NXT stars released including Dakota Kai and Dexter Lumis. Another talent that was released was the former manager of the Diamond Mine Malcolm Bivens. We have already heard from both Kai, Lumis and several of the other released talents.

Malcolm Bivens has joined the two in releasing a statement, this time in the form of a video Bivens posted on his social media accounts, explaining the context of his release and has he puts it, “controlling his own narrative.” The video was simply captioned “hear it from me.”

He also denied reports that he turned down WWE’s pitch for him to be Omos’ manager.

“Was I offered a new contract in Feberuary? Yes.”

“Did I say no to said contract? Yes.”

“Was I offered to be with Omos? No. No one said a word to me about managing Omos.”

In the video Bivens confirms reports he was offered – and subsequently declined – a new contract in February. He also cited being unhappy in his job as the reason for his release and seems in good spirits in the clip.
