For the most part when wrestlers dip into other television acting – it tends to be a cameo or one episode appearance. We’ve seen The Miz in Supernatural and other stars make other appearances.
One wrestler who has dipped his toe into acting is CM Punk who has appeared in multiple movies and shows – and last night he popped up on FX’s show Mayans MC, a spin-off of Sons Of Anarchy. His scene plays up Punk’s comedic timing and more.
Punk has usually acted in small independent movie roles, so its interesting to see him in an FX show such as Mayans MC. The AEW star is riding a wave of hype heading into his title challenger vs Hangman Page at Double Or Nothing. Punk’s appearance in the show can be seen below.
