Stu Grayson’s AEW Contract Expires

Over the last few weeks there have been a lot of talk about contract expiration dates, releases and more. For example, Roderick Strong has asked for his release from the WWE. Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis and Malcolm Bivens were also released last week. On the AEW side of things, Joey Janela’s contract expired, as he announced on Twitter. He is not the only one however.

Both Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and Dave Meltzer of WON have reported that Stu Grayson’s AEW contract has expired and AEW could not work out a deal with Grayson:

“Stu Grayson was removed from the AEW Roster Page today. Nothing has been officially confirmed by AEW but thus far anyone removed from the site is gone. The word going around is his contract expired and the two sides couldn’t work out a new deal.”

Dave Metlzer on WOR

Meltzer would also go on to put Grayson over as being “great” in the ring despite not being talked about enough.

Grayson will certainly land somewhere due to his talent and it is unfortunate Dark Order have lost such a pivotal member of the faction.
