The UFC hosted their pre-fight press conference Wednesday evening with the co-main and main event fighters getting their chance to speak to the press and Australian Heavyweight Tai Tuivasa made it clear that he has a kill or be killed attitude heading into his UFC 271 fight with record setting KO artist Derrick Lewis.
“I’m going to get my head taken off or I’m going to take his head off.” was how Tuivasa described what would happen when the two meet in the middle of the octagon on Saturday night and is consistent with how Tuivasa has taken the fight to others since he joined the UFC. Since 2019 Tuivasa has been on a four fight win streak with four finishes with wins over Stefan Struve and Greg Hardy.
