Who Should Win The AEW Eliminator Tournament?

Next Friday, The AEW Eliminator Tournament for a AEW championship match will take place. The possibilities are endless in this tournament and any choice would be interesting in a world title match, but there’s three obvious favorites to win this tournament.

The three favorites to win this tournament are Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston. Three interesting names and all have good chances of going the distance and becoming the next #1 contender of the AEW championship.

Bryan Danielson

“The American Dragon” is the wrestler with the best odds to win this tournament , and he’s also the wrestler that makes the most sense winning the tournament. Danielson since day one made his intentions clear to contend for the AEW championship and all indicates that will be the case after this tournament.

Bryan Danielson remains undefeated on singles competition since he signed with AEW and it seems like it’ll continue for a but longer. Omega/Page vs. Danielson are awesome matches on paper and interesting programs to do for the rest of 2021.

Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston would be an interesting choice to win this tournament and a perfect first challenger for someone like Adam Page after he wins the AEW championship. Kingston will do anything to make the program work.

Kingston is also a consistent performer in AEW and always delivers when needed in any position, so him winning the Eliminator Tournament would not be an outlandish idea, plus this would give more time to build Danielson’s story of climbing the rankings ladder.

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley is only behind Danielson as a favorite to win the Eliminator Tournament. Moxley makes perfect sense and it could lead to a heel turn for him.

A title program between a heel Mox and Adam Page for the AEW championship could be interesting and the perfect program to end the year for AEW. This program would be perfect to help build Page after he win the title from Omega and feuding with someone as established as Page as his first contender would be an interesting idea.

Orange Cassidy and Powerhouse Hobbs are also interesting choices as possible winner of the tournament, but they don’t make as much sense as Kingston, Mox and Dnaielson. It’ll be interesting to see how this tournament plays out.
