MVP To Miss Considerable Amount Of Time After Having Knee Surgery

Last week we reported that MVP was injured during Bobby Lashley’smatch with Randy Ortan after the star was hit with an RKO and reportedly suffered a broken rib. It seems that this may have been a way to write MVP of television as he was reportedly dealing with other issues.

Dave Meltzer reported in today’s daily update on F4Wonline.com that “MVP had knee surgery this week so he’ll be out of action for a while.”

MVP suffered a knee injury while working a six-man tag team match with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander against Lucha House Party and Matt Riddle on an episode of WWE Raw back in February. He had been using a cane to get around on WWE television, but later worked several matches since the time of the injury.

There was no word on when MVP is expected back, but we here at Bodyslam.net send him well wishes and want him to get better soon.
