We here at Bodyslam.net Are sad to learn about the passing of Jody Hamilton better known as The Assassin by wrestling fans. His son retired referee Nick Patrick announced on Tuesday that his father, legendary pro-wrestler had passed away.
The Assassins were formed in the early ’60s, with Tom Renesro taking on a role as the #2 assassin in the tag team. They were frequently seen on Georgia Championship Wrestling. When Renesro took to retirement from being a full-time wrestler, Hamilton recruited other wrestlers such as Randy Colley, Hercules Hernandez, and Jody Hamilton Jr. to fill his shoes.
