WWE Has No Plans To Change Their Return To Live Touring Despite AEW’s July Announcement

AEW announced yesterday that they will return to a live touring schedule for Dynamite in July. This led many to believe that this would cause WWE to change their plan to begin live touring again in August, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE will not change their plans to begin touring in August, despite AEW going on tour ahead of them in July. Their report read:

“From a few sources I’ve asked, it doesn’t seem like AEW starting back on the road in July will impact WWE’s return to touring plans. While this could change as Vince & Co like to be number 1 for these types of things, as of today, it still looks like August for them.”

Some believe that SummerSlam, which takes place on August 22nd, will mark the beginning of WWE’s return to a live touring schedule. However, nothing has been officially announced at this time.
