Ryback has not been in a major promotion for quite some time, though he teased an arrival to AEW. He says he’s ready to return to the ring and wants to know what the fans want. However, the fans may have spoken loud and clearly they don’t want to see him back.
Ryback posted a poll on Twitter asking fans where they’d like to see him in 2021. The choices listed were AEW, NXT, and Impact, but Ryback also put up “Retire” as an option. As of this writing, 44.8% of the voters chose Retire, which is the majority choice by far.
Ryback may have set himself up here to continue to feel Twitter and other social media networks are conspiring against him thanks to their alleged work with the WWE, as he’s often accused the company of trying to suppress his social media presence. While we doubt Ryback will listen to nearly half of the voters in his poll, it’s hardly certain he’ll end up in any of the places he listed in his poll.
