Last night on NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, Johnny Gargano and The Way got a shock when they realized they lost Austin Theory. Little did Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell realize that Austin Theory was snatched by Dexter Lumis.
If they didn’t watch a replay from last night’s show, they have a very good indication he might be in the clutches of Lumis now.
Earlier on Twitter, Austin Theory’s account had its profile picture replaced by a close up shot of Lumis face. No tweets, no statement, just a picture of Lumis. It’s an interactive way of taking the story to a whole new level, and we’ll have to wait to see what happens to Theory possibly as soon as Wednesday on NXT.
Lumis is no stranger to abducting people and leaving them scarred, just ask Roderick Strong.
