Ahead of tonight’s first round match in the AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator tournament, the company has revealed the brackets for the 16 women tournament. The Japan vs. USA affair features AEW’s top stars and some of Japan’s best joshi stars. While tonight begins the USA end of the bracket, we now know the matchups.
The USA Bracket features in the first round:
- Leyla Hirsch vs. Thunder Rosa
- Serena Deeb (NWA Women’s Champion) vs. Riho
- Tay Conti vs. Nyla Rose
- Dr. Britt Baker vs. Anna Jay
Meanwhile, the Japan bracket will have in the first round:
- Yuka Sakazaki vs. Mei Suruga
- Veny vs. Emi Sakura
- Maiki Itoh vs. Ryo Mizunami
- Aja Kong vs. Rin Kadokura
AEW has yet to announce how they will air and present the Japanese bracket, but we do know they are filming/will be filmed/have filmed in the Ice Ribbon dojo in Japan.
