Update On Sonya Deville’s Stalker Trial

The next hearing in Sonya Deville’s ongoing trial involving her stalker took place, and it ended with the restraining order extended and a continuance for the next hearing.

Heel By Nature has reported the results of yesterday’s hearing where Philip A. Thomas appeared in court virtually. In case you have forgotten, Thomas invaded Deville’s home in August of last year and attempted to abduct Deville, but thankfully it was thwarted and Deville had extra help at home as friend Mandy Rose was also in the house. The harassment continued when Thomas had his mail forwarded to her house.

Deville’s temporary restraining order against Thomas was extended again by Hillsborough County Judge Jessica G. Costello and the next date in the hearing was given as well, this time on May 6th. This is the fourth extension of the restraining order, and it will likely continue to be extended until the end of the case and probably beyond.

Before the next hearing, a couple of depositions will take place. Mandy Rose has a deposition due to her being at the house when the incident took place scheduled for February 3rd, while Deville’s deposition will be on February 13th. Thomas, meanwhile, will have another appearance in court on February 25th to responde to all the charges.
