We reported a few days ago that Vince McMahon missed SmackDown this week. Now we can report Vince also missed Raw last night as well.
Ringside News was the first to report McMahon was not at the ThunderDome for last night’s, but as news came out, the picture has become more clear the reason why. Like Friday’s SmackDown taping, Triple H, Kevin Dunn, and Bruce Prichard were in charge.
It’s rare for Vince to miss two straight tapings, but the news has now been revealed that Vince’s brother Rod McMahon has passed away. Rod passed away on January 20th, who was living in Willis, TX at the time of his passing.
While many often say Vince won’t miss back to back tapings unless it’s an emergency, one could safely say this qualifies as one. We at Bodyslam send our thoughts and prayers to the McMahon family at this time.
