AEW announcer, Tony Schiavone, was recently asked during AEW Dynamite Post-Show if AEW Chairman, Tony Khan, will purchase Impact Wrestling.
When asked if Tony Khan will be buying Impact Wrestling Schiavone said the following:
“No. Schiavone jokingly said that Khan will possibly use those S&H Green Stamps that were so popular in the 60s. Actually, I think he’s going to invest in a 1957 Chevrolet Coupe, which will bring him more money [than buying Impact].“
During the last month or so, Tony Schiavone and Tony Khan have been appearing on Impact Wrestling programming and Schiavone has taken shots at Impact Wrestling while they would have their “paid advertisements” air on Impact.
Tony Khan appeared on Impact and sat ringside with other AEW employees with Jerry Lynn for the main event between Chris Sabin and James Storm against AEW’s Private Party.
