MLW Locking Down Talents To More Lucrative Deals

Major League Wrestling is looking to lock down their talent with new deals, and they definitely have plans on how to do so.

MLW has watched a handful of talents walk away, losing them for whatever reason, and a handful of people have wanted out. However, MLW is looking to make sure the next wave of contracts keep their talent happy and around for quite a while as they look to build a solid foundation of talent as the company continues to expand.

PWInsider and the Wrestling Observer have reported that MLW is offering contracts that are giving a significant pay raise in addition to giving contracts in the 3-5 year range.

The report from PWInsider has stated the contracts are getting a significant pay increase because of the relationship MLW has with DAZN now. The partnership allowed the company to increase their budget and MLW promised key talents who stuck with the promotion that their loyalty would be rewarded. These raises are evidence MLW is working to make good on that promise.

MLW filmed their last set of tapings in a venue without fans, and it was revealed that they had to cancel a potential February taping with live fans but are using the Broadway production industry as a way to gauge when it’s safe to bring fans back into their venues.
