Several People At The WWE PC “Frustrated” Over COVID-19 Protocols

The WWE Performance Center continues to struggle with COVID-19 issues. From the start of the pandemic, COVID-19 has affected several talents in NXT and has even been the source of frustration between talent. From talents who have downplayed the virus and not adhered to protocols, it has definitely affected the PC and NXT. The COVID-19 issues were the reason Raw Underground was canceled, especially with the use of NXT talent, in addition to the reason NXT wasn’t a part of this year’s Survivor Series.

Again, Fightful Select has reported the PC has “plenty of frustrated names” currently, becoming practically “a tradition” since the pandemic started. It’s become even a bigger deal with the PC having talents back to training full time. They’re now back to training five days a week, and the testing has become an issue. It’s said that some people are only tested for COVID-19 once a week instead of prior to each training session.

Those that we’ve spoken to at the Performance Center say that they are typically only COVID-19 tested once a week, and train the rest of the week. WWE had initially been doing virtual classes, before a few days a week.

Considering that the WWE watched the PC get named as a “COVID-19 hot spot” by the state of Florida, it was a bit of a surprise that they were allowed to remain open, but it certainly hasn’t stopped several people at the PC being frustrated at the way things are going, considering it may not be doing much to stop the spread.
