WWE’s trademark spree continues, this time getting a name set for someone potentially ready to come to NXT.
Heel By Nature has reported WWE has applied for a trademark on the name “Karen Kwan.” The filing was made on October 20th and placed into the database on December 8th. The trademark is designed for a wrestler, trademarking it under the usages of “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio.”
While we don’t have confirmation, it’s easy to speculate that this could be for NXT star Karen Q, who has been out of action with a leg injury. Though she hasn’t been seen on television, there are rumors and rumblings that Karen is the mysterious person responsible for what is currently happening to Boa and Xia Li. At this point, it’s a matter of wait and see, but things should be interesting when she returns.
