Jaxson Ryker May End Up Being Released From WWE

The Forgotten Sons returned to SmackDown this past Friday night, but they were short one person.

Jaxson Ryker was not part of the return, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler making a new trio with King Corbin. It was Cutler and Blake’s first appearance on the show since Jaxon Ryker posted some controversial tweets on his Twitter account in support of Donald Trump and against the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dave Meltzer talked about Ryker’s absence from SmackDown on Wrestling Observer Radio. He noted that Ryker not being around is a big sign he’s expected to get cut soon.

“He wasn’t there. There’s a reason he wasn’t there and the reason he wasn’t there is the reason they haven’t been around for a long time. Those poor guys got a lot of heat from him because he’s a complete idiot.”

It was added that “they haven’t got around to cutting him. I would expect that next round of cuts, he’ll be cut.” It’s also currently unknown if another company would have interest in Ryker.

The heat on Ryker has been so bad that he hadn’t been flown in to be used at any of the remaining tapings at the PC or wasn’t flown in for the shows at the Amway Center. It even reached the point that Ryker was no longer listed on the internal roster sheet. Someone in the company had even said it “wasn’t worth the risk of bad publicity of him being on TV.”

Reports about Ryker even went as far to say that top WWE officials weren’t big fans of him to begin with. Ryker’s heat became an unfortunate situation for Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler, but they seemed to have turned the page on that and it looks like they have a new role on TV now alongside King Corbin.
