WWE has already scheduled their move to Tropicana Field as the new location of their ThunderDome stage. The debut of the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field is set for December 10th, but between now and then has been up in the air.
There had been talk about using the Capital Wrestling Center in the interim between the Amway Center and Tropicana Field considering that the Amway Center had told the company they had to be out of the venue by December 5th. However, in a report by Fightful, WWE will have more time in the Amway Center. The current plan is for Raw and Smackdown to run at the venue through December 7th’s Raw in time for them to debut at Tropicana Field for Smackdown on the 10th.
Obviously, the transition could be a little jarring, but it seems like they have more concrete plans in place. We’ll have to see how things go.
