Mike Bennett is looking to get back into wrestling after his WWE release in a big way, and one of those ways was returning to the company where he made his name.
The former Mike Kanellis returned on the latest episode of Ring of Honor’s television show, saving Matt Taven from an attack by Vincent and Bateman. After Bateman attacked Taven following Taven’s victory over him, Vincent joined in on the attack as well. Vincent is the new persona of Vinny Marseglia, Taven’s former Kingdom partner. When Vincent joined in, the lights went out and Bennett was in the ring when they came back. Bennett and Taven are former RoH and NJPW Tag Team Champions and once had a variation of The Kingdom with them and Adam Cole.
With Final Battle on the horizon, there is a strong chance we could see Bennett and Taven return as a tag team to face Vincent and Bateman in a tag team match, but that is just speculation at this time. For now, Bennett has returned to the ring and after his WWE release, he must be relieved.
