Why Mandy Rose And Dana Brooke Were Removed From Survivor Series

Last night on Raw, an injury to Mandy Rose and a brutal attack on Dana Brooke forced Raw to remove them from their women’s Survivor Series team. WWE Official Adam Pearce quickly replaced them with Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce, leaving Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler angry and confused.

There was a reason for this switch and the one with Mandy Rose was a bit more simple. Rose was injured last week during the Women’s Tag Team Title match, but Brooke’s removal was more being a victim of circumstance. They didn’t want one partner in the match without the other. While they played up Rose being injured thanks to this week, the injury took place last week. Dave Meltzer had more on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“Obviously if you watched the show you can see that Mandy Rose was legitimately injured last week. She came down on her shoulder while working with Nia Jax.”

There’s no further update on Mandy’s injury at this time.
