Peyton Royce was rumored to have big plans for her following the breakup of The IIconics.
Vince McMahon was rumored to be high on Royce and the WWE put plans in motion to split the team up to begin a singles push for Royce, but it seemed like there was little follow up. The team split up and after Royce and Billie Kay were placed on different brands, it seemed like the move to elevate Royce was on despite a moment where Kay remained with Royce as a manager.
However, on her first post-Draft appearance on Raw Royce was thrust into a new pairing with Lacey Evans. Judging by her reaction on social media, Royce isn’t thrilled with teaming with Evans at all.
The account for WWE’s show The Bump tweeted out to fans asking them to give ideas to name the team of Evans and Royce, where Royce clapped back that she wasn’t a team with Evans and wouldn’t be considered a team with Evans under any circumstance. It seems like Royce isn’t thrilled The IIconics broke up at all.
We are not a team. I will only be in a tag team if it’s with Billie Kay. That’s it. The end. I’m dead serious.
Lacey Evans responded to Royce’s tweet, unbothered by her feelings.

Royce may not be thrilled by her current situation, but there’s not much she can do about it. Maybe this turns into something bigger for the former IIconic.
