WWE Interested In Bringing Back Released Talent

WWE has let several employees go in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it was on air talent or backstage and behind the scene workers like Tony Chimel, many talents have seen their time with WWE end this year.

However, WWE seems to have interest in bringing someone back.

Fightful Select has reported that talent have spoken about WWE having an interesting in bringing back No Way Jose. WWE recently made a trademark for “The Way” and many NXT talent believe the new trademark filing was for Jose.

Jose never really hit a stride on the main roster after his NXT call up, and has not been seen much since his release earlier this year besides to respond to his release. Perhaps this was just a way for him to keep himself open should an opportunity to return to the WWE arised. Obviously, this is speculation on the meaning of the trademark, but we will see if WWE does indeed bring back the man and his conga line.
