Daniel Bryan To Receive “Major Angle” on WWE Television

Daniel Bryan said recently that his return to WWE television would be his last as a full time superstar. This was followed up by Bryan losing on SmackDown this past Friday and getting injured in storyline via Jey Uso. This seems like a dubious way to start Bryan’s final full time run.

However, this may just be the start of something big for the leader of the Yes Movement on Friday Night SmackDown.

While an injury angle is usually a way someone is written off television for a while, this does not seem to be the case for Bryan. Ringside News first reported that Daniel Bryan will return to television before Survivor Series and this is not a way to write him off television.

They spoke to a tenured member of the creative team and confirmed all of this is building toward a “major angle” where it seems that Bryan’s unfinished business will be revealed.

Bryan did reveal that he wants to use this run to tell as many good stories as possible and help elevate other talent, which he may continue to do after his run is over. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Bryan has taken a role on the WWE creative team. This may be the only information we have now, but it’s safe to say there’s a big story on the horizon for Daniel Bryan.
