Hurricane Helms Shades Road Dogg After Twitter Debate

Recently, Road Dogg opted to leave Twitter after an exchange with Hurricane Helms over their opinions regarding mask wearing and COVID-19. The discussion over mask wearing was even more highlighted considering the outbreak that recently happened at the WWE Performance Center. While Road Dogg and Helms seemed to end their discussion on mostly polite terms, it seems Helms wasn’t afraid to shade the former New Age Outlaw on Twitter today.

Today I pray that I recognize my mistakes from yesterday and that I never get smoked so bad on a Twitter debate that I have to quit. We all fall short of the Glory, it ain’t a reason to lay down!! #THANKUGOD #GODISGOOD #FAITHOVERFEAR #SERENITY #SOBRIETY #HOPE #OUDK

For those that don’t often frequent Road Dogg’s account, this tweet seems to mock typical tweets from Road Dogg, more specifically a direct sub-tweet based on one Dogg posted Tuesday. It’s been often reported there’s a handful of “COVID truthers” among the trainees and staff at the Performance Center, so it’s notable to see a member of the WWE staff so vocal about his opinions about the novel coronavirus and wearing masks. The lackadaisical attitude some show at the PC has even led a few trainees to feel unsafe returning to the PC.
