Sadie Gibbs On Nearly Moving To The United States For AEW Prior To The Pandemic

British Superstar Sadie Gibbs recently revealed in an interview with Chris Van Vliet for his YouTube channel, just how close she was to moving to the United States. Sadie Gibbs signed with AEW back on the 29th May 2019, but would only make two appearances for the company.

She made her first appearance in the All Out Women’s Casino Battle Royale and in a tag team match with Allie, defeating Big Swole and Mercedes Martinez after pinning Big Swole.

Despite only having two appearances there was talk backstage of an upcoming push in the AEW’s women’s division so much so that Sadie Gibbs was just 5 days away from moving to the States permanently. That was until the Covid 19 Pandemic hit, pulling the plug on all her plans. In the interview with Chris she would say this on the matter:

“Five days, yeah. I’m one of these people who believes that everything happens for a reason, but when things go completely out of your control it’s hard finding that reason, but you just have to kick out and follow your intuition, really.”
