Seth Rollins Says He Was Unprepared During His HIAC Match With The Fiend

Former 4 time world champion Seth Rollins appeared on the most recent edition of WWE the bump. He discussed his infamous Hell in a cell match with The Fiend Bray Wyatt at the 2019 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. Back then the Fiend used to use red lighting during his matches, something ‘The Messiah’ said he was not prepared for.

Rollins was also asked what his advice would be for the superstars heading into the ‘cell’ this year. Here is what he had to say:

“Oh God, survive, I guess,”. They’re scary matches. I’ve had a lot of different experiences. Let me correct you, I won my Hell in a Cell match with The Fiend, thank you very much. Yes, it was a controversial match, but I still won.

But yeah, I’ve had some brutal ones. You have to go in there prepared for anything. Last year, I went in unprepared for the red lighting; I didn’t think I had to wrestle in red lighting. Yeah, so, those who are competing, you might have to be prepared for lighting changes… It’s an exciting adrenaline popping thing, but it’s one of those deals where after you’ve done it once, you can let other people handle it.”

Seth Rollins has a good record inside Hell in a cell matches appearing in 3 of them in his career, winning 2 against The Fiend and Dean Ambrose, losing the other to Kevin Owens. So the superstars stepping inside the ‘structure’ this weekend should listen to his advice.
