After a short run as NXT tag-team champions, Breezango lost the titles to Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, but also had a little help from Pat McAfee.
Breezango had originally meant to be challenged by the Undisputed Era, but first Bobby Fish was taken out backstage only to be replaced by Kyle O’Reilly; then all three members of the UE (minus Adam Cole) got taken out backstage by unknown assailants.
This would lead to Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch getting the opportunity instead. During the match, a masked man attacked Fandango which enabled Oney and Danny to get the victory. The masked man then revealed himself as Pat McAfee, someone we haven’t seen since Adam Cole beat him at NXT TakeOver XXX.
