TNT Champion and AEW executive Cody has thanked AEW fans from the UK for some very good ratings results. He sent out a tweet showing how AEW has surpassed the ratings of all of the main WWE shows in the UK, which you can see below:
These are fantastic results for AEW. An important point to note is that RAW, NXT and Smackdown all air on BT Sport in the UK, a channel that you need to pay for, whereas AEW airs on ITV – a free channel in the UK.
Even so, this latest set of results marks another positive for AEW in their first year of existence. Cody and the rest of the AEW talent and executives will be hoping us Brits’ carry on supporting the product.
