WWE Confirms Thunderdome’s Future

When WWE first announced they would be running in the Amway Center and turning it into the ThunderDome they would do so till the end of October. Because of this October 31st end date, WWE even pushed up Hell In a Cell by a few weeks to fit in it with the original agreement. Now we know what the plans are with WWE and the ThunderDome past October 31st.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that WWE will continue to produce RAW and Smackdown from the ThunderDome inside the Amway Center in Orlando for at least four more weeks. In the original deal between WWE and the Amway Center, they were able to extend the deal if both sides agreed on terms.

Four more weeks in the ThunderDome would mean that Survivor Series in November may just miss out on being held there. The originally scheduled date for Survivor Series was November 22nd, however WWE has yet to announce that date themselves so it could be changed just like Hell In A Cell was changed as well.
