WWE champion Drew McIntyre wants to see two of his former opponents, and two former world champions drafted to raw on the upcoming edition of Raw. This Monday WWE will present night 2 of the WWE draft, which is the final night of the 2020 draft.
McIntyre was asked who he would like to see move over to raw, while he was on the Monday Night Raw retrospective panel at New York Comic Con. The WWE champion revealed that he would like to see Braun Strowman and Sheamus move over to ‘The red brand’.
“I’d be a bit curious if Sheamus and I end up on the same show. We’ve known each other since I was 19 and he was about 47 [laughs] and he’s been there through all the ups and downs of my life,” said Drew. “If you check out the 24 special on myself and my career, it’ll kind of take you through the story. You’ll see how important Sheamus has been to my life and career. I think if we get the opportunity to do something pretty special. I want Braun Stroman as well. He’s a big man, I want to give him a big beating.”
Drew McIntyre also stated that he would like to face the new version of Roman Reigns. This would cause Triple H to respond, he claimed that those two should be kept apart because their eventual match can be something the magnitude of Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair.
A bold statement from Triple H, Roman and Drew are the two biggest stars in WWE right now and both are world champions on their respective brands. A match between the new version of Reigns, and this version of Drew would definitely be very exciting, and would have that big fight feel.
As for Drew wanting to see Braun and Sheamus come to raw, in the past he has made no secret of his desire to have a feud with ‘The Monster Among Men’. Also as seen in Drew’s recent WWE 24 documentary, Sheamus is one of his best friends, and he was even an usher at his wedding. Both of these feuds would be extremely hard hitting, with the Sheamus feud in particular, being able to draw on real life events to give it that extra intrigue.
