WWE has confirmed that NXT Superstar Tegan Nox has suffered another torn ACL, with the storyline reason being the brutal attack by Candice LeRae last week on NXT.
Tegan was set to compete in the women’s battle royal with the winner receiving an NXT Women’s Title match against Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver 31. However she was attacked by Candide before the match, which now appears to have been done to write her off of tv while she heals.
Nox last competed on the August 14th edition of Smackdown during the cross-brand battle royal number one contenders match for Bayley’s Smackdown women’s championship.
On the NXT Media call, Triple H stated that Tegan has already undergone surgery. I’m sure everyone will join me in wishing ‘The girl with the shiniest wizard’ a speedy recovery.
