The speculation is over about where Tay Conti plans to call home as earlier today AEW sent out the following news on Twitter:
Tay Conti first made news back in 2016 when she signed a deal with WWE. The following year she competed in the inaugural Mae Young Classic in a losing effort to current WWE Superstar Lacey Evans but gained most notoriety with the company in 2018 when she was the first female Brazilian to ever compete at Wrestlemania in the Woman’s Battle Royal.
In April of 2020 Conti was included in the WWE’s round of releases due to Covid that was dubbed “Black Friday”. In August she became part of the AEW Tag Team Cup Tournament when she teamed with Anna Jay. In a more recent episode of AEW Dynamite after it was announced her tag partner Anna Jay was part of the Dark Order, Tay Conti herself received an invitation to join from Evil Uno.
According to AEW, Tay Conti will make her in ring singles debut on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
