Tessa Blanchard Returning To Ring For Warrior Wrestling

Former IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard will return to the ring this Saturday for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Blanchard will defend the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship against Kylie Rae at Warrior Wrestling: Stadium Series at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago, Ill. The event will stream live on FITE.

Blanchard had been scheduled to defend the IMPACT World Championship at this year’s Slammiversary prior a falling out with the company. IMPACT terminated Blanchard’s contract and stripped her of the title, currently held by Eric Young. Rae is the No. 1 contender to IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Warrior Wrestling’s shows are often an indie wrestling super card. Along with Blachard versus Rae, other bouts announced for this Saturday include:

 • Brian Cage vs. Alex Zayne

 • TJP vs. Alex Shelley

 • The Rascalz vs. Myron Reed, Chris Bey & Jordan Oliver

 • Thunder Rosa vs. Kimber Lee

 • Dan The Dad vs. Elayna Black

 • Joey Janela vs. Warhorse

 • Daga vs. Isaias Velasquez

 • Tom Lawlor vs. Kevin Ku
