Matt Hardy Taken To Hospital Following Match At AEW All Out

The Broken Rules Match between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara featured a really scary moment.

There was a spot where Hardy and Sammy had battled up onto a lift, with a table strategically placed below. Hardy was set to deliver a side effect on Sammy off the lift and down onto the table, but instead Sammy was able to break free and hit Hardy with a spear driving him off the lift and down to the table and floor below.

Hardy’s fall overshot the table, and the back of his head bounced off the concrete floor. Hardy appeared to be unconscious, as Doc Sampson appeared to check on his condition.

Hardy would attempt to get up but fell back down, and the match appeared to be called off and stopped by the doctor.

Sammy then leaves and makes his way back toward the ring area, seemingly killing time while the doctor continued to check on Matt Hardy.

Hardy eventually makes it back to his feet and takes off to chase down Sammy. Once Hardy made it back into the amphitheater he was attacked by Sammy, and the match appeared to restart.

From here, the two quickly fought and made there way by the stage to a scaffold. The two again fought and made their way above the stage, and quickly saw Sammy take a dive off and through a platform below.

Sammy wasn’t able to get up before the ten count, and Matt Hardy was declared the winner after the match restart?

In an update, according to Bryan Alvarez, Matt Hardy has been taken to a local Jacksonville Hospital following the match.

At one point AEW had uploaded a video of Matt Hardy’s bump that saw his head hit the concrete, but it has since been deleted.

We will keep you updated on Matt Hardy’s condition as we hear more.
