WWE To Scale Back Live Event Schedule

Dave Meltzer has stated on his Wrestling Observer Radio show that WWE are contemplating, scaling back the live event schedule for good, even after the COVID-19 Pandemic is finally behind us.

There is no indication live events will be cut completely, but the idea of working four house shows a week, is certainly a thing of the past.

AEW only work TV, as well as utilising YouTube very well, and NJPW may still tour. It looks like WWE are moving in the direction of being a ‘Big Event Business’ rather than being a touring company, on the road over 300 days a year, as they once were.
