Report: How Long Rey Mysterio Might Be Out Of Action

Rey Mysterio and Dominick won their match against Seth Rollins and Murphy at WWE Payback. However, Mysterio suffered an injury during the match.

Due to the triceps injury, Mysterio was unable to compete on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. He was scheduled to face Seth Rollins. His son Dominick took his place, where he was unable to pick up the win.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an explanation as to how long Mysterio could be on the shelf.

“If he had a full tear then he would need surgery and he’d be out eight months. I hear two months or less so, you know it’s a real injury and not a good time, but it’s a whole lot better than six to eight months out, especially right now when he’s a real focal part of the show and he’s in a real key angle.”

We will have to see when he will be making his in-ring return.
