Last week Wade Barrett made his WWE return as an announcer on the WWE NXT brand. Barrett has also confirmed that he will also be in the same role this week for NXT.
Pwinsider has reported that Barrett has met with WWE officials as he is currently negotiating a full-time return to the company as an announcer.
Reports have stated that Barrett’s working the TV tapings were pretty much a “feeling out” process to see if both sides are interested in working together again.
WWE has been interested in Bennett dating back to early 2020 as an announcer. This deal is only for an announcing role and not to wrestle.
