WWE Cancelled Big Push For Superstar Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic that swept the world, WWE had a lot of plans in place. However, as the saying goes in the wrestling business.. plans change.

WWE Superstar Riddick Moss returned to WWE television this week as part of the new RAW Underground segments after being off TV for months. Just prior to his disappearance from WWE TV, Moss had a brief run as WWE 24/7 Champion. Moss recently explained his absence, stating that his brother that lives with him, has cystic fibrosis and is at a high risk if exposed to COVID-19.

According to a report via Fightful Select, it was actually Paul Heyman who made the decision to keep Moss off TV, saying that Moss was “sat out by Paul Heyman as a result, as to avoid any potential heat of making the decision himself.”

There has also been talk that Heyman was very high on Moss, and that he wanted to give him a big push.

Fightful Select reports that Moss was actually “sat out by Paul Heyman as a result, as to avoid any potential heat of making the decision himself.” Several people have also said that Heyman was very high on Moss and wanted to give him a big push.

It was also said that there was no heat on Moss within WWE, and the company “respected his wishes.” This was also the reason that there was an “unconventional outdoor [24/7] title switch” back in March following WWE’s move to the Performance Center.
