“The Man” Becky Lynch recently revealed on The Bella Twins Podcast that when she told WWE management of her plans to have a baby with partner Seth Rollins just before WrestleMania, she also pitched the idea of dropping her title to Shayna Baszler at the Showcase Of The Immortals, which WWE creative and Vince McMahon ultimately rejected.
The original plan from WWE creative was to have Baszler eventually win the title at a later date, but by then McMahon cancelled that storyline and chose to go with Asuka as champion instead. Vince has supposedly completely soured on Baszler because she doesn’t fit the mould for what he wants in a female wrestler or champion. Due to this, he not only cancelled her push but has now removed her from TV altogether with her only recent appearances taking place on Main Event.
