WWE Reportedly Discovered Positive COVID-19 Test Within Company During WrestleMania 36 Tapings

WWE officially confirmed that an employee within the company tested positive for COVID-19. It was reportedly a member of WWE’s Broadcast Team that tested positive for coronavirus, although the identity of the person was not revealed.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the positive COVID-19 test within WWE in more detail. It was stated that the person tested positively for the coronavirus during the second day of WWE’s WrestleMania 36 TV Taping schedule.

“We had a COVID positive and they’re still going. They’re actually going more. It all happened on March 26th. It would have been the second day of WrestleMania taping is when it happened, in theory it happened after the taping so nobody was infected supposedly and it’s someone on the broadcast team.”

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about the identity of the person on WWE’s Broadcast Team who tested positive for COVID-19.
