Reason For Becky Lynch Going Over Shayna Baszler At WrestleMania 36

Night 1 of WrestleMania 36 featured the RAW Women’s Title Match between Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch. Lynch was successful in defending her belt against Baszler, but that isn’t the end of their feud it appears.

On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the current plan for Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler following WrestleMania 36. It was said that it is expected that she will continue her program with Baszler, and that the two will be facing off again down the line sometime.

“It was done to protect Shayna Baszler. The feud is not over. They may not be wrestling on the next pay-per-view, but the plan is definitely for Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch is not over.”

WWE’s next PPV will be Money In The Bank, which is scheduled to take place on May 10th. There was no mention of a location for the event, as it was originally slated to be held in Baltimore, but that is likely not going to happen anymore.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about plans for Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler, the RAW Women’s title, or the Money In The Bank PPV.
